Repairs

You can help us to process your repair request quickly and smoothly by observingthe following points:

  • Please use our form “Description of Faults”, which you can download as PDF file. Fill in the form as completely as possible and enclose it with the article you are returning to us.

  • Make sure the article is protected by suitable packaging for safe transport. Use the original packaging if possible. We accept no liability for transport damage.


The process

When we have received your device our repair department will send you a notice of receipt with your RMA number. We will then send you a cost estimate, usually within 2 – 3 weeks at the latest. We will repair the device immediately after your approval of the cost estimate.

You can also address your inquiries to us telephonically during our office hours. Please have the project and order number readily at hand.

Please note:

IMS will charge you a flat rate of EUR 100.00 for expenses should you reject the cost estimate and the device was checked and tested or for devices without ascertainable defects.
