IMS has acquired a stake in SECOPTA analytics GmbH; the transaction took effect on 26 June 2026. Going forward, the new company will operate under the name <strong>IMS Secopta GmbH.<\/strong><\/p><p>IMS Messsysteme GmbH is a globally leading provider of high-precision measuring and inspection systems for the steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metal industries. With this investment, the company is specifically expanding its portfolio in the field of automated material analysis.<\/p><p>SECOPTA analytics GmbH develops and markets analytical solutions based on LIBS technology (laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy).
