The cross strip thickness profile is
determined |
|
The arrangement of the detectors and
x-ray sources is such that any two adjacent detectors are
illuminated by radiation from
different angles.
This measuring channel arrangement is essential for the determination of the cross-strip
thickness profile
and strip contour measurement. The whole C-frame is made to
oscillate in the cross-strip direction at a
constant frequency of 1.5 to 2 Hz. This
ensures that thickness measurement takes place over the full strip width.
We can measure the following |
|
- C-frame with integrated x-ray technology
- Central signal processing using a multi-processor computer system
- Data link to the customer control, optimisation and quality assurance level
- Operation and visualisation interfaces
- Product data archiving
- Remote maintenance facility
- Quality management
- Cooling system for the measuring frame
