Coated coils find application everywhere a decorative appearance, corrosion protection or resistance
to weathering are of decisive importance.

Typical fields of application include:

IMSpect in Use

The IMSpect optical measuring system is used in coating systems such as electrolytic upgrading and
hot dip galvanizing, as well as in painting systems. The thickness of layers such as chromate, titanium/ zirco-nium
compounds, and chromium-free coatings produced in pretreatment processes, as well as the thickness of coats
of paint/lacquer can be measured. The thickness of other coating materials can also be measured after the relevant
initial tests.
