| Use
and technique Surface finishing is becoming increasingly important in many different areas of application technology, including the automobile, household appliance, construction and packing industries. Continuous coating procedures, such as galvanised coating or fired, foil or lacquer coating of steel and aluminium strips, create surfaces which decisively improve the usage characteristics and corrosion resistance of sheets. |

For car body sheets, more and more use is being made of Bonazinc and Granocoat processes. This is a
galvanised coating process followed by lacquer coating.
IMS provides highly-sensitive measuring devices for all of the areas mentioned. In conjunction with adequate
regulating devices, these significantly improve both quality and cost
efficiency.

We produce high-performance measuring systems with radiotechnology for different coatings:
